Cueva del Lobo beach on Mojácar Playa;

To find the Playa Cueva del Lobo. The landmarks would include The Horse Riding stables on the Beach, which is where the beach is named after. This building differs from the typical white and symmetrical buildings in the area. Playa de Cueva del Lobo, with the peculiar name of The Cave of the Wolf, is named after the stables which is situated along a rocky section of the coastline. 

This is where the promenade has been extended to the Red Cross (Next to VIP Almeria office).

The swimming season begins June 15 and ends on September 15; during this period the lifeguard service is operating from 11.30 to 19.00, off schedule this season and there is no lifeguard and rescue service.

It is a popular beach for residents of the Pueblo Indalo Hotel and offering a breakwater that protects the surf, which makes ideal for a fun family day. It is an entry point for the promenade and it is surrounded by a number of services and amenities:
