We would describe this area as restful, water sports orientated, child friendly and a great area to be involved in Sporting activities.

There are fewer bars and restaurants in this zone compared to the rest of the resort of Mojacar, however all the venues of Garrucha town are just a stroll away which offers people additional options.

The beach at Marina de la Torre is blue flag rated. It is a popular beach for sunbathing and beach bars. During swimming season (June 15 and ends on September 15) there is also a lifeguard service.

Popular activities in this zone include: Golf, Water sports, Fishing, Paddle, Tennis, Football, Outdoor Gym, walking clubs, Bowls and spa facilities from the hotels.

For evening drinks and food, we recommend San Pedro – Belgian Bar, Mimis, HOLA OLA, Bowen sports bar, Sotocasa and Scotty's El Tropico.

It is on the main bus route and has easy communications by the E15 / AP7 motorway to a number of airports of Almería (45 minutes); Murcia International (Covera) (1 hour and 20); Alicante (1hour and 45).
